Road Trip Day 6 (Part2): Nashville, Tennessee
After an exciting and sobering day at Graceland (hey, we’re Elvis fans … it is a bit sobering to stand at his grave site) we headed out for the drive to Nashville.

We stayed about 3 blocks from the Ryman Auditorium and the live music clubs right around the corner on Broadway.
After an hour-and-a-half power nap we got up around 8pm and got ready to go. We walked the three blocks or so pass the Ryman to Broadway
It was really cool. We turned the corner onto Broadway and I just stopped and stared. I did a complete 360-degree sweep, and saw club after club with live music performances in their front windows. Awesome!
Our first stop was Robert’s Western World – a truly cool place and home of one of my favorite bands, BR549. Of course, they weren’t playing that night, but another really good band was:

The lead guitar player was pretty incredible.

Enjoying the music at Robert’s Western World.

As we left we walked by an Elvis statue in front of a gift shop. After touring Graceland in the morning it seemed a fitting end to an action-packed day:

Tomorrow: Home to Asheville.
