Looks like JJ Grey and his band Mofro are up in your neck of the woods. I’ve been a big fan since we went to the first Langerado Festival back in 2003. I conducted a kickin’ songwriting interview with him last month.

If you’re into Southern and New Orleans-styled swamp funk it would be worth your while to take a listen while he’s in town. It looks like he is gonna be all over the radio and in store. Here’s his schedule for Friday, April 6th – according to his website:

April 6, 2007: JJ will do a solo acoustic performance live on KEXP 90.3 at 9:30am, followed by a performance with the full band at 1pm on KMTT 103.7. JJ then hightails it over to Easy Street Records for an instore performance at 6pm, followed by a full show at Nuemos later in the night (Whew!).
