RollingStone’s RockDaily has a great comprehensive post about yesterday’s press conference complete with video.

Initially I was thinking I might not be interested in seeing this, but after watching the press conference I must admit I got a bit excited.

“We are at our best.” Said Roth, “This is not like the Police. The idea is that this will go on and on and on. This is like a brotherhood like it never was before.”

One of the things I always admired (despite all the drama) was the way they could jump back and forth across the lines between popular music and heavy metal. The following two videos are good examples – the first is the radio staple “Dance The Night Away”. The second one is the headbanging “Unchained”.

Mmmmm … tasty.
